10 February 1898. On Brecht's 121st birthday Tom Kuhn offers a Bloomsbury blog-post to recall the powerful provocation of Brecht's writings, then and now, and to promote the new volume: Brecht and the Writer's Workshop.
An exhibition of Brecht-inspired artwork created by graphic artists at Blumenfisch, a Berlin-based workshop for people with disabilities, in collaboration with Writing Brecht is taking place in the library of St Hugh's College, Oxford.

We are sad to announce the death of director Carl Weber, on 25 December 2016 at the age of 91. Weber joined the Berliner Ensemble in 1952 and worked closely with Brecht until the latter's death.
